Settings Hub

The one place where everything you configure lives — organized into five clear categories so you can find any setup screen fast.

Open Settings from the bottom of the sidebar. It's a two-pane layout: pick a category on the left, and its destinations appear on the right. Settings is available to admins and managers.

Note: Settings is for admins and managers. Supervisors and reps don't see this hub.

The five categories

Team & Access

Manage the people who use Field Pro and keep their syncing healthy.

  • Team — add and manage your field users (reps, helpers, supervisors, managers), set their role, territory, login number, channels, and reporting line.
  • Sync Health — see records the server refused and what's blocking a rep's data from syncing.

Outlets & Territory

Set up where you sell and how outlets are grouped.

  • Customer Groups — your channel taxonomy and outlet types. The top-level groups define your trade channels (General Trade, Modern Trade, and so on).
  • Territories — your geographic sales areas, arranged as a tree.
  • Import Outlets — bulk-add outlets from a spreadsheet: download the template, fill it, upload, and review.
  • Location Types — categories for saved map locations, such as warehouse or competitor.

Catalog & Pricing

Define what you sell and the offers around it.

  • Catalog — your companies, categories, products, and prices.
  • Free Schemes — buy-X-get-Y-free offers, targeted at an outlet or territory, with validity dates and an on/off switch.

Operations

Configure the day-to-day mechanics of fieldwork.

  • Form Templates — the forms reps fill during visits, including mandatory visit-close forms.
  • Beat Plan Permissions — who can create and manage beat plans.
  • Email Summaries — scheduled email roll-ups of activity.

System & Brand

Control how the product looks and the policies that govern it.

  • Brand & Policies — your logo, colors, name, and the core policy switches (such as the price-list policy and discretionary free cartons).
  • Frappe Desk — advanced, technical configuration. Admins only.

Best practice: Work through setup in order — brand and policies first, then territories and groups, then outlets, catalog, and schemes — so each step has what it depends on. The Getting Started guide walks this path end to end.

Warning: Frappe Desk is advanced technical configuration. Use it only when guided to; the Settings screens cover everything most teams need.
