Leads & new outlets
Capture a prospect as a lead, or create a brand-new outlet β right from where you're standing.
A lead is a prospect outlet you haven't started selling to yet. An outlet (a customer record) is a place you do sell to. You can capture either one in the field, and turn a promising lead into a customer later.
Note: Both a new lead and a new outlet require you to be at the outlet. The app captures a live photo and your GPS location automatically β you can't add one from somewhere else.
Capture a new lead
- Tap Add Lead in the Quick Actions menu (or the "+" on the Leads screen).
- Enter the details: name, business, primary and secondary phone numbers, email.
- Choose the channel, then the group it falls under.
- Take the live photo when prompted (your location is captured at the same time).
- Save the lead.

Lead statuses
A lead moves through stages as you work it:
- New β just captured.
- Contacted β you've reached out.
- Qualified β a real prospect worth pursuing.
- Dropped β not going anywhere.
Update the status from the lead's detail screen, where you can also Call, Navigate, Share, and log visits to it.

Convert a lead to a customer
When a lead is ready to become a real outlet, tap Convert to customer.
Warning: Converting needs a connection, and the lead must be synced first. If you captured the lead offline, sync once before you convert β otherwise the option stays locked.
Create a new outlet directly
If a place is ready to be a customer straight away, skip the lead step and create the outlet:
- Tap Add Customer in the Quick Actions menu.
- Enter the details: name, type (Company or Individual), channel then group, an optional tier, phone numbers, and email.
- Take the live photo when prompted (your location is captured with it).
- Save. The app then offers to start a visit at the new outlet right away.

The customer profile
Open any outlet to see its profile, with tabs across the top:
- Overview β the outlet's details, credit, and last visit.
- Visits β your stops at this outlet.
- Orders β its order history.
- Payments β its collections.
From the profile you can also Call, Navigate, Share, and Add a visit.

How it flows
flowchart TD
A[At the outlet] --> B{Lead or customer?}
B -->|Lead| C[Add Lead β details + live photo + GPS]
C --> D[Work the lead: New β Contacted β Qualified]
D --> E{Ready and synced?}
E -->|Yes, online| F[Convert to customer]
E -->|Not synced| G[Sync once, then convert]
B -->|Customer| H[Add Customer β details + live photo + GPS]
H --> I[Offer to start a visit]
- Stand at the outlet β the live photo and GPS are captured automatically.
- For a prospect, tap Add Lead, fill the details, and take the photo.
- Work the lead through New β Contacted β Qualified (or Dropped).
- When it's ready, sync, then Convert to customer (needs a connection).
- For a ready outlet, tap Add Customer instead β and start a visit on the spot.
Best practice: Capture leads and outlets while you're physically there. The live photo and location are your proof the outlet is real and where it says it is.
