Field: Customers, Leads, Visits & Beats
The Field group is where your outlets and your reps' day-to-day field activity live: who you sell to, who you're chasing, where your reps have been, and the routes they follow.
You'll find it in the sidebar as the Field group, with four screens. Here's what each one shows and the everyday things you do there.

Customers
A customer record is an outlet — a place you sell to. The Customers screen is your full list of outlets, where you browse and manage them.
Common things you do here:
- Search and filter your outlets to find the one you need.
- Open an outlet to see its details, channel, tier, and any outstanding balance (unpaid money or cartons).
- Add a new outlet, or edit one's details.
Note: To add many outlets at once, use the bulk import tool under Settings instead of adding them one by one. See Add outlets.
Tip: The outstanding balance on an outlet tells you who owes you — sort or filter by it to plan your collections.
Leads
A lead is a prospect outlet — somewhere you'd like to sell to but haven't signed up yet. The Leads screen is your prospect pipeline.
Common things you do here:
- Review the leads your reps have captured in the field.
- Follow each lead's status as it moves through your pipeline.
- Convert a lead into a real customer once it's won.
Best practice: Keep lead statuses current so the pipeline reflects reality. A clean pipeline tells you where to push next.
Visits
A visit is a rep's stop at an outlet. The Visits screen is the record of those stops — where your reps have been and what they did.
Common things you do here:
- See which outlets were visited, by whom, and when.
- Check whether visits were completed and stuck to the plan.
- Spot outlets that aren't getting visited as often as they should.

Beat Plans
A beat is a rep's planned route of outlets for a day. The Beat Plans screen is where those daily routes are managed.
Common things you do here:
- View the routes assigned to each rep and territory.
- Create or edit a beat plan so a rep knows which outlets to cover and in what order.
- Keep coverage balanced across your outlets over the week.
Note: Supervisors and managers can create and edit beat plans; only an admin can delete one. Who's allowed to manage beats is set under Settings. See Create beat plans.
Best practice: Build beats so every outlet gets visited on the right cadence — high-value and high-volume outlets more often, quieter ones less.
