Leave & Expenses

Request time off and claim money you spent on the job, right from your phone.

Use these when you need a day off, or when you've paid for something — like fuel or airtime — that your organization should pay you back for. Both go to your manager for approval.

Note: Leave and expenses need an internet connection. Unlike most of the app, they don't work offline — you'll be asked to get online first. Everything else (visits, orders, payments) still works without a signal.

Request leave

Open Leave from the menu. You'll see your leave balances along the top (how many days you have left of each kind) and a list of any past requests with their status.

To ask for time off:

  1. Tap to start a new request.
  2. Pick the type of leave (for example, casual or sick).
  3. Choose the from and to dates.
  4. Choose full day or half day.
  5. Type a short reason.
  6. Submit.

That's it — your request is sent for approval in one step. You'll see it appear in your list with a status pill (such as pending or approved).

Note: Once submitted, a leave request is sent straight for approval. Changes to a rejected request are handled on the web app, not the phone.

File an expense claim

Open Expenses from the menu. You'll see your past claims, each with a status pill, and a button to start a new one.

To make a new claim:

  1. Tap to start a new claim.
  2. Add one or more expense lines — for each, choose the kind of expense, the amount, and a short description.
  3. Choose the activity or purpose the claim is for.
  4. Add receipts using the camera — take a live photo of each receipt.
  5. Submit.

Your claim goes to your manager for approval.

Tip: Snap each receipt as you go, so you don't have to remember the amounts later. Receipts are taken with the live camera — there's no need to upload from your gallery.

Best practice: File expenses while the details are fresh. Clear amounts and a photo of every receipt make approval quick.
