Attendance: Clock In & Out
This page shows you how to start and end your working day, and what your attendance screen tells you.
Clocking in marks the start of your day and clocking out marks the end. It's quick, it works even with no signal, and it keeps your hours honest.
Start your day
You can clock in from the clock-in card on the Today screen, or open the Attendance screen for the full view.
- Open the app and go to Today (or open Attendance).
- Tap Start your day to clock in.
- The first time you clock in for the day, choose a focus for the day and up to three priorities — the things you most want to achieve.

Note: You only pick your focus and priorities once a day, on your first clock-in. They ride along with that first punch.
Tip: Clocking in also starts your route tracking for the day. From here on, your route records in the background while you work — even with your screen off. See Location & battery (why they matter).
What you see on the Attendance screen
Once you're clocked in, the Attendance screen shows your day at a glance:
- Started time — when you clocked in today.
- Hours — how long you've been on the clock.
- Streak — how many days in a row you've shown up.
- Punch log — each clock-in and clock-out for the day.
- 14-day history — your attendance over the last two weeks.

End your day
When your last outlet is done, clock out:
- Open Today or the Attendance screen.
- Tap End your day to clock out.
- Your status changes to "Day ended" and your route tracking stops.

Best practice: Clock out when you genuinely finish for the day, not in the middle of errands. Your hours and your route reflect when you were actually working.
It works offline
You can clock in and out with no signal at all. Your punches save on your phone and send to the office automatically when you're back online. The clock-in card shows how many punches are still waiting to sync (for example, "2 to sync").

Warning: Don't worry if a clock-in seems "stuck" as waiting to sync while you're offline. As soon as you have signal and the app syncs, it's recorded. Your day is never lost just because you had no network.
